Privacy Policy Eliteserien Fantasy

Fotball Media AS ("Fotball Media") is responsible for the service Eliteserien Fantasy (the "Service") provided on the site fantasy.eliteserien.no (the "Site").

Fotball Media will, in connection with providing the Service to its users, collect personal data regarding the users. This privacy policy contains information you are entitled to in connection with the collection of your personal data, inter alia how Fotball Media processes personal data.

The privacy policy covers all personal data you may provide to us or that we may collect in order to perform the Service. The Service is subject to Norwegian law, and Fotball Media will process your personal data in accordance with the privacy rules applicable at any time.

1           What kind of information we collect 

When you use the Service, Fotball Media may collect both personally identifiable information and other information about you that cannot be used to identify you. The types of information Fotball Media collects can be divided into the following categories of personal data:

• Information about you, including, but not limited to, name, age, gender, date of birth, credit card information or other financial information, place of residence or other physical address, email address, phone number and other contact information.   
• Information gathered through your use of the Service, i.e. information collected through use of cookies (please refer to section 2). The information is collected to provide the best possible functionality to you as a user. Examples of information collected through the use of cookies are what kind of operating system you use, what third party sites that connects you to the Site, the search words you use while at the Site, the specific sites you visits at the Site and how long you visit the Site.
• Your IP address (the number that identifies your computer on the internet) and other information about your computer. Fotball Media may also store your IP address for system administration purposes (e.g. to calculate how many users that has visited the Site). The IP address will only be stored for the duration of the visit on the Site and will thereafter be either deleted or anonymized.

Fotball Media may use cookies and other similar technologies, i.e. small files that can be stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive, and that collects information while you use the Service, e.g. about what parts of the Site you use. Fotball Media collects this information to improve the content and the services provided to the users, and to customise the Service in accordance with your needs. Cookies may also improve the Site's functionality upon your next visit to the Site.   

In order to detect and delete cookies, you can change the settings in your browser. However, if you choose not to accept cookies, you may not be granted access to all functionality on the Site. You can find more information regarding cookies under the browser's help function.  

3           The purpose of the processing

Fotball Media uses the personal data you provide to us or that we collect through your use of the Service for the following purposes:

• to fulfil our agreement with you, i.e. to enable you to use the Service;
• to improve our services, the content of the Site and other relevant platforms, including collection and processing of personal data for internal statistics, administration and marketing of the Service;
• to respond to your questions or inquiries;
• to send you email, push or SMS notices that you have signed up for;
• to notify you of new and other services from Fotball Media;
• to notify you of changes to the Service, the Terms and Conditions or to this privacy policy;
• investigations, prevention and protection against violations of this privacy policy or the Terms and Conditions, fraud or other potential threats to our or third parties rights;
• to comply with all applicable rules and regulations; and
• for any other purposes for which we will notify you specifically at the time of collection or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or as permitted or required by law, rule, regulation or any other legal process.

4           Legal basis

In order to process your personal data, Fotball Media requires your consent or other legal basis. Consent to processing may be given upon request from Fotball Media and/or by your voluntarily submittal of the information to Fotball Media through the Site or other relevant platforms for the Service.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to Fotball Media, or by deleting your account on the Site (please refer to section 9). Please be advised that the use of the Service is dependent on Fotball Media's processing of certain information regarding the users, and that a withdrawal of consent will entail that you may no longer use the Service.

Fotball Media only retains your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) as defined above.

5           Disclosure to third parties

Fotball Media is data controller for all personal information about you collected as a part of the Service, and is responsible for securing your personal information.

Fotball Media may disclose your personal data to suppliers and sub-suppliers that perform services for Fotball Media, in order to be able to deliver the Service to you. Suppliers and sub-suppliers will only use your personal information for the purposes they were collected, and in order to perform their services towards Fotball Media. The relationship to such suppliers and sub-suppliers will be governed by a data processor agreement with Fotball Media.

Norsk Toppfotball assists Fotball Media with the operation of the Site.

Fotball Media may also disclose your personal data to the Service's collaboration partners, Verdens Gang AS and Discovery Networks Norway AS (together referred to as the "Collaborating Partners"). The Collaborating Partners may only use such information in relation to the administration of the Service and/or for marketing purposes, provided that the user has explicitly accepted such marketing upon registration for the Service or at a later point in time.

Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Fotball Media will not transfer, sell, rent or trade your personally identifiable information to others without your express consent, unless such obligation is imposed by law or binding court order. 

6           Protection of your personal data

Fotball Media take the privacy rights of its users seriously and has taken reasonable steps to protect the user's privacy, including physical, technical and organisational measures, to prevent loss, alterations, theft and unauthorized access to information for which Fotball Media is responsible. Fotball Media also limits access to user's personal information to selected Fotball Media employees or employees in suppliers, sub-suppliers or Collaborating Partners that needs access to such data to perform their services in relation to the Service or the Site. 

7           links to third party sites

The Site and Service may contain links to other third party sites. When accessing such link, you leave the Site and the Service. These third party sites have own privacy policies that determines how the third party site is operated and how personal data is collected and processed. Fotball Media takes no responsibility for such third party sites, how they are operated and how they process your personal data. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with such third party sites' privacy policies and terms of use when visiting and using such sites.

8           Modifications to the privacy policy

This privacy policy may from time to time be changed unilaterally by Fotball Media. The current version of Fotball Media's privacy policy will be available at the Site at all times. The User is advised to check the privacy policy from time to time, to keep up to date with the current privacy policy. Fotball Media will notify the user of any changes to the privacy policy that will require the users consent.

By using the Service you accept electronic communication and publishing on the Site of revised versions of this privacy policy, and accept that such electronic communication and publishing of the revised version on the Site as sufficient notice to you regarding any changes in the privacy policy.

9           Your rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data stored by Fotball Media in relation to the Service. In your account on the Site you will also be able to correct any errors in the information available from the account.

If you wish to delete your account, you may do this from your account on the Site. Upon deletion of your account, all your personal data will be deleted. Anonymized information, i.e. information that cannot be linked to you, may be subject to continued storage.

You may contact Fotball Media if: (a) you have any questions or comments relating to this privacy policy, (b) if you have questions or wish access to your personal data stored by Fotball Media, (c) if you have questions or wish to correct any errors in the information that Fotball Media has stored about you, or wish to delete certain information, (d) if you no longer wish to receive email from Fotball Media, such as newsletters etc. or (e) if you wish to withdraw your consent to the collection, processing, use or disclosure of your personal data to third parties.
